All of the nurses and doctors treated me with respect and empathy. They were very professional, comforting and efficient. I had a lot of anxiety about this procedure, since it was my first experience. Every doctor and nurse I had contact with put me at ease right away. They were very patient with my questions and took the time to answer them thoroughly.

I had an excellent experience. I felt I was more than well cared for. All the nurses and my doctor seemed genuinely caring and concerned about me and the colonoscopy which I was about to have. The same after the procedure was over.

This is a tough, somewhat unpleasant procedure to go through. I think it went about as well as possible. My only suggestion would be to clarify the guidance regarding consumption of a meat based bouillon the day before the procedure. My sense is that there is some risk with some bouillons of interfering with the cleansing of the colon.

The number one thing people want to know is "how many polyps were found/removed". My doctor didn't mention polyps in the recovery room. Perhaps none were found. If none were found/removed, then the docs should say none were found/removed.
