Did not feel as though anyone cared about my situation.
Good experience.
Except for the MD people were nice
I was told I needed blood work, was left in the room for another 20 plus minutes before someone came in. The discharge nurse came in very abrupt and not friendly. Said I needed to give samples and gave me the necessary items, however she said that they don't have any bags. I asked can I take the gown and wrap the stuff in because I'm embarrassed to walk through this office and through the parking lot with this out for everyone to see, She again said they don't have bags, I said well I'm not taking this stuff then, I said I feel uncomfortable carrying this in plain sight. Went to get the blood taken, the abrupt nurse couldn't find the phlebotomist and said well I guess I have to do it....no ma'am you are not touching me!
Absolutely loved the quick responses I received via the portal. How unusual!
Good Experience
The only negative was that one of the nurses stood talking to front desk staff, about her life, and she used some language that was not professional.
Never been to a doctors visit where everyone was incredible all around. Best experience I've ever had.
Awesome to see staff working well, side by side, with each other
The staff seemed immature. The person that"roomed" me made me feel like I was just another person. There were several staff sitting at a station giggling & laughing, (I hope not about me). The lab person acted like I was a child afraid of getting poked, (nice young man though). Then to be sent home with the job of scheduling an x-ray at another place b/c you don't have imaging has really rubbed me wrong. Someone suggested having it done at Allina clinic. I still haven't heard from them so called myself to schedule. Turns out they didn't get the order. The person I spoke to about getting the order was at first going to have me call the clinic back to make sure they sent the order, but later in the conversation stated she would contact your office to see if the order was sent & whether or not it got sent to the correct fax number. Lots of phone calls, holding/waiting and still no answers. And the worse part is that I'm still having abdominal pain!
