MNGI provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care to patients of all ages, including newborns and infants.

MNGI Digestive Health provides specialized care for infants, children, and teens with digestive, liver, and nutritional concerns. Our board-certified pediatric gastroenterologists are experienced in caring for young patients and work closely with families to create personalized treatment plans. We care for patients under age 18, as well as a small number of established patients over 18 who continue to need pediatric-focused care.

Our providers also collaborate with primary care physicians, Children's Minnesota, and other specialists to ensure coordinated care for every patient.

Our Approach to Care

We focus on helping children feel better through accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and ongoing support. Families play an important role in the care process, and we work closely with parents and caregivers every step of the way.

Children up to age 18 receive care at MNGI’s NE Mpls clinic. Pediatric procedures are also available at MNGI’s Lakeville, Maple Grove, and Vadnais Heights locations.

What to Expect

Your child’s care begins with an appointment with one of our pediatric specialists. Depending on your child’s needs, your provider may recommend additional testing, procedures, medications, or follow-up care.

Our care team includes providers, patient coordinators, and pediatric nurses who help support families throughout treatment.

For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 612-871-1145.

Pediatric Procedure Resources

Families can watch our pediatric procedure overview video before their child’s procedure to help answer questions and ease concerns.

At our Northeast Minneapolis clinic, younger patients are welcomed by “Gutsy Lucy,” an interactive display designed to help children better understand digestive health in a fun and approachable way.
