The nurse who brought in the plan explained it but then also highlighted the action item areas which was extremely helpful.
This was an excellent service with excellent responses, and care.
PLEASE STOP USING APPS - just email or call. I hate getting emails to CHECK the app for a message just send the message in that email this is unnecessary we have had patient confidentiality since before apps, a voicemail will be just fine.
All staff were great & treatment plan was clear & successful.
I like the after visit summary-just in case I forgot something we discussed.
I've never left a dr.s office feeling so supported before.
It was wildly disappointing to spend 5 1/2 hours on the road for this appointment only to be told we have to do it again multiple times over the next two weeks. It would have been been much more helpful to have our commute time considered before making treatment plans or even being seen the first time. Overall, we were very happy with the provider and staff, but disappointed in the communication and instruction for our first visit.
My frustration is not with the provider or the PA, or the desk person. My frustration is the reaction time to concerns. First, it took 3 hours to get back to me on the procedure that would be done in the office. In that time I had already left for my appointment (it was a last minute suggestion from the nurse that Mia be seen). When I was notified I was told that the appointment wasn't entirely necessary and her problem could be taken care of by a prescribed ointment. Second frustration. The pharmacy said the prescription needs a prior autorization. They contacted MNGI last week and I still haven't heard from anyone. I finally reached out through the portal and the response for prior authorization is 3-14 days! My daughter is in pain but we have to wait 3-14 days. Very, very, very frustrating.
As follow up, when I needed to make an appointment with Children's, the MNGi staff waited on hold with me and through the whole scheduling call to make sure our appointment was set correctly and that Children's had all the referral information needed. It was very impressive that she was willing to do that.
Even gave me extra info to take home info on what to watch for
