I was told I had celiac disease and that I had to start a gluten-free diet immediately. I was told I would be given a folder with a lot of information. After my visit with the PA, I had to have blood drawn. After that they said I could leave but I had not received the folder of information yet. I went to the front desk to ask about that and she helped me but I felt that was a pretty big error of either the PA or her nurse to make sure I had what I needed before I left. Or even to go over everything in the folder with me. There is a lot of information and as I have gone through it, I have many questions.
Please it is simply not acceptable there are no office visit appointment with my doctor for the next five months but there are so many appointments available for procedure immediately. So pathetic this is money oriented scheduling and not patient oriented.
Very very impressed and I am SO grateful - terrific!!
Went Great
I had a poor experience with my office visit, however my hope is my colonoscopy is better.
I'd never heard about MNGI before being referred to it, and will be glad to continue with it if I need further care.
*Dr. and his staff are fantastic! Getting my initial appointment and follow up have been extremely difficult. I hope after the "COVID impact", scheduling is easier.
*Dr. spent more time than expected (& appreciated) listening to my 6 week BI issues family med history. She asked relevant questions.
A bit confused about the FODMAP diet.
Poor rating because I've called twice and checked the portal for bloodwork results that are important to me and still haven't been able to access. Was told twice I'd receive a message via email but so far nothing, nada, zip.
