Digital Information sharing between Allina and MNGI is unacceptable. Without significant improvements, it may put world-class health care out of reach. The team approach at MNGI may add flexibility to scheduling but it undermines the experiential connection with patients. Regardless of the quality of the data in the system, data must be paired with first-hand experience to be most effective.
Someone will call me to schedule next appt, and with my experience, I hope they do because I don't want to track it down to get that appointment. I don't really have faith in the coordinators any more.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful the entire visit especially impressed the NP.
Very good, Dr. Sherman was great. I really liked getting a paper copy of labs - I wish all clinics did it, I dislike the find it online, password etc. method.
The plan I was given was not helpful.
The one thing I would work on is improving the follow up process for patients. For years I've been told after the visit that someone will contact me about the next visit. That never happens but I do receive a follow up reminder letter. I then place a call to the patient coordinator. Most of the time get voicemail in which I leave a long detailed message waiting for a call back. The coordinator returns my call the same day but sometimes we end up playing phone tag. I feel like there must be an easier way to get the next appointment scheduled. Just my experience.
