Naresh Gunaratnam, MD
Dr. Gunaratnam has been a practicing gastroenterologist for over 20 years. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Michigan and an advanced endoscopy fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. He is board-certified in gastroenterology. In 2019, he was recognized by the American Gastroenterology Association (AGA) as a distinguished clinician in private practice and has been honored by Detroit Hour Magazine as a Top Doc for over ten consecutive years. He has served on the AGA committees developing evidence-based treatment programs for obesity management and has over 80 peer-reviewed publications in the field of gastroenterology. He is joining MNGI in 2024 to focus on metabolic health and obesity management.
Dr. Gunaratnam developed the MNGI Health 360 program as a science-backed approach to improve metabolic health, lose weight, and reverse conditions like fatty liver, diabetes, and heart disease, and to decrease the risk of cancers of the colon, breast, and pancreas.
