Takeda Vedolizumab-4054 Study

Have you been diagnosed with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis? If so, you may be eligible to participate in the Takeda Vedolizumab-4054 research study. This study is evaluating an investigational approach to treatment for adults with ulcerative colitis. There is no cost to participate in this study. The study medication and all study-related tests that are not part of your routine care will be provided at no cost. Participants may also be reimbursed for study-related expenses.

Diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and Considering Non-Drug Treatment?

MNGI Digestive Health and Minnesota Urology are recruiting patients diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (UC) for a new clinical study that is evaluating how effective sacral nerve modulation is for the treatment of UC.

Sacral nerve modulation is FDA-approved to treat overactive bladder and fecal incontinence. Patients who qualify for the study will have a minimally invasive procedure to have a small medical device implanted. Patients will be closely monitored to see how well the device helps manage their UC symptoms.

Subjects can receive study stipends to help compensate them for their time and travel to study visit appointments that they complete.
