MNGI's Clinic is located at street level in the Northeast corner of the building. You will enter using our outside entrance and not the main lobby of the building.
Our Pediatric clinic is a great place to schedule an office visit or consultation for digestive concerns, but is not a location for endoscopic procedures. If your child is in need of a procedure, that will be scheduled at our Vadnais Heights or Maple Grove locations after a consultation with our physician.
Again, everything was great except for the Phlebotomists.
We cannot get any xrays or ultrasound done at the GI clinic. We have to go to a hospital. That is inconvenient and overall service feels incomplete.
Very good hospitalization.
Please provide a child changing table in the bathroom that is back by the rooms/nurses station.
We got lost and called to ask for directions. They were very understanding.
no time frame for results or more testingno plan for contact
One change I'd like to ask for is that if you can get a scale that is a large like a twin bed & a lift. It would be good for low muscle tone kids/young adults and to be able to measure their length. I rely on GI to help with my daughter's weight, nutrition, and overall growth monitoring. We rely on accurate weights for medication and dietary changes. I just think in the long term as my daughter gets bigger we will have to lift her out and so the lift to get her safely out of her wheelchair will help. If you truly want to maintain the best care for her in her lifetime I see the need for this.
The team who drew my daughters blood was fantastic! They took their time, talking to her to calm her down, and helped me hold her while she was very upset, they were amazing.
Dr recommended getting a upper GI that afternoon. Nurse who took us to get bloodwork and gave me a sheet to call and schedule the appt myself as you were running a trial. I called Children's to do just that and they were shocked that the nurse did not coordinate the testing and they didn't even have the order in their system so we did a 3-way call with MNGI to be able to make an appt. My recommendation is to never make a parent do this activity especially if the request is to get the scan done that afternoon. This is not self- check out at a retail store. Also, zero feedback on status of scan after I've called 2x. I work for a national radiology practice and it takes and average of 3.5-4.5 min to read a CT scan so there is no possible way the results are not ready. Meanwhile, I have a child who is vomiting multiple times a day for 11 days with zero answers. Very poor unacceptable aftercare.
Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of that location
