I realize turnover may be a concern for some positions, but the last several times I have been to MNGI and had a blood draw, the technician had problems and seemed inexperienced. My last visit resulted in several tries to draw blood and left large bruising on both my arm and hand. The technician wrapped both areas much too tight, as in tourniquet tight, causing immediate swelling in my hand and pooling of blood.
Before leaving I was provided with a complete summary of my consult and plan. Also verbal and written instructions and tools needed for testing, were provided to go
I appreciated getting the plan written when my appt was finished.
This was my first time to MNGI but not my first time with the gastroenterology practice. I had been there before the other places merged together. I never had any complaints
I highly recommend this dr. & clinic. Dr. called with change in tests and he explained why and guided me through what would happen. When I called to make an appt. I felt staff was very helpful.
Complete verbal and written information on my care plan was provided and I found helpful.
I was told I would be contacted by ?? For tests. The front desk did not help me with my questions about the 3 tests and what they were for.
I was also there to have blood taken in the lab. The (nurse?tech?lab assistant?) had difficulty drawing blood, requiring at least three jabs in two different places. It may have just been my lack of good blood flow in the chosen veins, but this may have gone smoother and more quickly.The reason I am answering "Fair" on several questions does not reflect the quality of your service, it is only that I have few opportunities to recommend any medical services to any "others."
