The FDA has issued a voluntary recall of some Magnesium Citrate solutions due to an increased risk of infection in immunocompromised patients. This recall impacts the lemon, cherry, and grape flavor of Magnesium Citrate products.
If you have purchased a colonoscopy prep kit directly from MNGI Digestive Health, your Magnesium Citrate product is NOT impacted by the recall. However, use caution when purchasing this product directly from the store or pharmacy.
Prep kits are still available at MNGI Digestive Health and can be ordered online or picked up at any of our endoscopy center locations (Bloomington, Coon Rapids, Eagan, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Vadnais Heights, Woodbury) between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
